'Point Pleasant', anyone?

I missed 'Point Pleasant' tonight so I'm downloading it and I was wondering if anyone wanted caps? No specific scenes are needed seeing as how if anyone wants it I'll just cap the whole thing. Just wondering if there's any interest or not. :)

Also, I've done some 'Teen Titans' caps which only need to be uploaded, so I'll have those for you guys who requested them in the next few days.

Point Pleasant - 1x01

I've got 625 screencaps all sized 624x352 of Point Pleasant - 1x01. You can download them here (right click save, please) but don't right click save, it's uploaded on YSI since my FTP program isn't working properly. If the link runs out, tell me and I'll re-upload.

I'd appreciate it if you comment if you download them, and credit myself or cap_it if you use them in icons/graphics. :) Enjoy!

DVD List

*pokes head in* I've seen a few of these, so I hope it's okay for me to post my own. If it isn't, let me know and I'll delete it right away.

I have nothing to do this weekend, so I decided to sit down with my computer and do some capping. I don't think I can do complete movies, although if you ask nicely, I might try. :) Please be specific with what scenes, characters, etc. that you'd like. Expect a few days to a week for the caps to be complete.

I'll make them high quality, and I'll use zip files when I can. (I use Geocities, although if you know another free file hosting service, please leave a comment.) Zip files are lovely. :D

I Love the 90s: Part Deux
it's always ourselves we find in the sea

(no subject)

The 3035724th post asking what DVD programs will cap. I apologize. I never thought my old computer would crash so suddenly, so I never paid attention to the other posts... >_>
Anyways. This (brand shiny new squee! *cough*) computer has PowerDVD 3.0 and Window's Media Player on it. What can I do to either make them cap, or what programs can I download (safe, preferably SMALL programs, at the moment I'm still on a 56k connection here) that will cap? Safe is a key word here. The old one, according to the techie, crashed because of a Windows instability (goddamn System Restore...) but I can't help but think the large amounts of crap on the computer probably contributed. So I'm trying to keep this one a bit more austere.
Thanks muchly!

Help turning off trial PowerDVD subtitles, or help choosing a $25-or-less capping program

I love cap_it, and I'm trying to give back. The good news is that I have the DVD of Footloose, which nobody's capped yet -- when I looked, I couldn't find it online anywhere at all. I also have a few other DVDs.

The bad news is that I can't cap it. I downloaded a trial version of WinDVD 6, which allowed me to take 40 caps. I downloaded a trial version of PowerDVD, which will apparently let me take caps, but which won't let me turn off the subtitles. I don't think it's supposed to do that, because it wasn't mentioned anywhere, but I can't get them to go away, so I can't cap.

I don't really have enough DVDs to justify buying a program; I can easily cap them all within the 30-day limit of most trials -- and I really want to cap Footloose and Evita and stuff. So I'd be willing to pay up to $25 for a program that caps and doesn't do somersaults, but what I really want is your suggestions on how to fix the PowerDVD subtitles thing.

Request filling: "Addams Family Values" - Morticia & Young Debbie

nyuszi requested caps of Anjelica Huston's Morticia Addams from "Addams Family Values" (request thread p. 36). I have 106 DVD caps of Morticia up on photobucket, unretouched. Also, waaay back on p. 4, honey_child asked for caps of one of Debbie's slides from that movie, of her reaction to Malibu Barbie. (Tish: "Malibu Barbie." Gomez: "The nightmare." Tish: "The nerve!") Two caps, of the before and after slides, are in here as well. Morticia samples and link under the cut.
