PowerDVD 5 question.

Hello. I'm new and I come with a question.

I'm just getting into capping entire movies rather than select frames/scenes, so I decided to get PowerDVD 5 so I could do this without having to rip movies. Anyway, I notice that red elements in my caps all turn out pixellated, like the hairclip seen here on Edward Scissorhands. The only time I really notice it for other colours is when I happen to catch a bad frame; red, however, always comes out that badly. It's not a problem with converting the images, because the .bmps PDVD generate all have that problem. I've checked around, and apparently it's not a widespread problem, because I've yet to find a solution to it.

So does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

First I wanted to say I'm very sorry, I posted this in the wrong place at first and I'm mortified, I can't even delete it from capitrequests. :-(

Now, I'd like to know if anyone could please point me in the direction of a good program(s) for making screencaps, preferrably one that will automatically take a screenshot every second or half second if I want. And I know this is too much to hope for, but are there any free programs like that? I'd still like to know about the buyable ones, of course.

Thanks in advance, and sorry again!
